| Marriage Licenses are valid for 60 days from the day of issue. Therefore, we recommend that couples obtain their marriage license as one of the last items on the wedding checklist. After the wedding ceremony is performed, the Wedding Officiant is required to sign the marriage license and is required by law to mail it to the County clerk's office that issued the license. We perform these ceremonies on-site only in our small but quaint Wedding Room, which offers a wonderful alternate venue where couples can get married in privacy, and not in front of 20 other couples waiting in line for a judge at city hall.
